The pull up bar is definitely one of the top ten pieces of strength equipment. We build them out of super strong and sturdy 3x2 11 gauge steel that mounts either to the ceiling or wall. Designed for the serious athlete, our bar is made to withstand the strongest of kips - even the butterfly pullup.
Coming in at one of the most commonly programmed functional fitness exercises, the pullup will reward you with serious upper body strength. There really is not a proper substitution for this exercise. So, along with a good bar and a set of bumper plates, the pullup should be a regular in your list of exercises.
One of the most effective ways to get strong is to move your own weight and this is a great piece of equipment to get you doing that. Not quite ready for unassisted pullups? Pair this with one of our resistance bands to give you that little bit of help you need.
